FMS has an enriching and dynamic film production program rooted in the Tufts liberal arts framework. Through the exploration of film, television, and various media, FMS production students employ their liberal arts education to craft interdisciplinary storytelling projects that offer cultural and global insights. By engaging with the history, theory, production, and societal significance of media, student filmmakers cultivate critical thinking abilities, develop expertise in film and media, and gain extensive writing proficiency. These valuable skills empower them to pursue advanced studies and diverse career prospects in fields such as film, television, advertising, public relations, journalism, digital media, and beyond.
