GEG PROGRAM
Interns work alongside Glass Entertainment Group staff, departments, and current projects ensuring they make valuable connections at every step of the internship process.
Our hybrid work model means local and long-distance students alike are eligible to participate and gain experience in the following departments:
PRODUCTION
Work alongside Producers, Production Managers, and Production Coordinators to provide general production support.
Aid in location scouts, transcription, and research for upcoming shows.
Assist with coordinating production shoots, sit in on production meetings, and learn the basics pre-production and planning.
Local interns may also attend local productions and help Producers on set.
POST-PRODUCTION
Post-Production interns work alongside the Post-Production Coordinator and Post-Production Assistants to assist with content screening and network deliverables.
Become familiar with all aspects of the post-production workflow from initial footage ingest to final color and audio mix.
Aid in the completion of post-production documents including, but not limited to music cue sheets, final show scripts, interview transcriptions, and footage logs.
Local interns may shadow Assistant Editors to learn the fundamentals of Avid Media Composer.
DEVELOPMENT
From researching new show ideas to writing treatments, interns will learn how to take an idea and mold it into a marketable TV show pitch.
Work side by side with the development team to research, develop, and pitch new show ideas.
Sit in on network calls, write case summaries, and reach out to prospective talent.
Learn about what networks look for in their programming and how that translates into making pitches sellable.

We are open to having the students join us for 1 week any combination of in person, remote, or hybrid.
We work from 9-6 Mon-Fri and can be flexible with the students availability. A full or mostly full time placement will let them get the most out of it since it such a short time frame.
