About the job
Fresh Tape Media is searching for a Creative Intern to join our fast-growing team! The Creative Intern supports our Creative Team in the day-to-day ideation, copywriting, pitching, and creative review process across all facets of our business. This includes, but is not limited to: social-first, scripted branded content, set fabrication, and influencer work. This position is a paid summer internship for someone early in their career who is passionate about pushing creative boundaries.
The Creative Intern will work closely with the Creative Team to assist in organizing & participating in brainstorm sessions, copywriting for decks and scripts, and occasionally pitching to clients. We are looking for someone who is eager to gain real-world agency experience in a fast-paced environment.
This role can be based in either Denver, CO or New York, NY. Our offices are on site optional Monday and Friday, with all staff in office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities Include:
Creative Development
Intake and analyze client briefs and RFPs, distilling the most important aspects amongst the Creative Team
Organize and participate in brainstorm sessions
Contribute ideas for some of the top brands in the world
Support copywriting across pitch decks, scripts, and other creative documents
Gather visual and creative inspiration to help bring creative ideas to life
Assist with creating storyboards
Review content for brand consistency, quality control, and overall look and feel to meet clients’ needs
Collaboration
Assist the Creative Team in researching cultural trends, brand campaigns, and creative references
Participate in daily and weekly internal meetings, capturing notes when needed
Provide general creative and administrative support to the Creative Team across ongoing projects
Track and organize creative assets
Assign tasks to Creative Team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Participate in a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
Basic Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field
Engaging portfolio showcasing creative interest
Understanding of social, digital, and traditional media
Interest in marketing trends, social strategy, and new technologies
Positive attitude, flexibility, and problem-solving abilities
Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and detail orientation
Knowledge of and passion for sports and sports creative trends is a plus
